a week into the new year and it feels so surreal how each year supersedes the last...and also a little scary coz you have more to lose.
but a thought for this year =P (inspired by vicki)
approach life like cooking!
a bit of experimentation, a bit of recklessness, maybe not so vanilla, a dash of tabasco instead of salt, risk the mundane for something worthwhile...taste it!
a dash of curiosity, we've always wondered...go, walk along that inconvenient turnoff and for once, find out! what have you got to lose? a bbq chicken stuffed with peanut butter and garlic? mmmm =P
maybe...time...i dont know whether its the waiting that makes it special, but sometimes, the hardest things are the best things in life, just a little while in the oven and the edge is crispier and the inside warmer than you can ever imagine
and here we need to invent a new word, that isn't over used, under meant, friends. what would we do without our everpresent and indescribably amazing set of ...steak knives =P
if all is lost...try again, if that fails, there's always instant noodles at vicki's =P your fellow knives of stainless steel will always be there =P and hey at least the brownie is just as good!
